Licensing

Insurance advice through SecureMyFamily is provided by a licensed insurance advisor — licensed in Ontario by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) and in Alberta by the Alberta Insurance Council. We currently serve clients in Ontario and Alberta.

How we’re paid

Our advice costs you nothing. When you buy a policy through us, we receive a commission paid by the insurance company — the price you pay is the same as if you bought directly from the insurer.

Because we compare policies across multiple insurers, and commission levels vary by insurer and product, we want you to know this up front: our recommendations are based on your needs and the value of the coverage. We’re happy to explain exactly how we’re compensated on any product we recommend — just ask.

Complaints

If something isn’t right, email info@securemyfamily.ca and we’ll work to resolve it. If your complaint isn’t resolved to your satisfaction, you can contact the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) or the Alberta Insurance Council, depending on where you live.
